Beauty Box Review

It's always nice getting special packages in the mail. I recently received these three beauties from Julep, Target and Wal-Mart. They're all set at a reasonable price with a good selection of items that I can sample before shelling out tons of money on something I don't know if I would use again.

Julep

The box from Julep was a self-mailer, which is great because it saves on waste for packaging. After filling out a short style profile, your style is revealed and you can choose a monthly box (pay as you go) or a 3 month subscription. If you want to cancel the subscription, you must cancel by midnight of the 24th in order to not be billed for this month’s maven box. Be sure to look for coupon codes to get your first box for free. Inside my box, I received a Welcome booklet, 3 nail polishes (Kendra, Chloe & Josephine) and a 50% off coupon to use. I have yet to use the nail polishes but I am anxious to check out the colors, perfect for the fall.

Target Beauty Box

This box was a self-mailer as well. These Target boxes are hard to come by. You'll have to keep an eye out for when these are available. It'll help if you follow Target Style on Facebook. It looks like there's still more available online. It's $7 for the box + tax and shipping. If you use your Target Credit Card, you can get free shipping plus 5% off. It's not a terrible deal to try out some products you normally wouldn't.
